"THE 5-5-5

As we approach the end of the 5th Anniversary Year of our Music Director, Gary Berkson, we want to present a fundraising challenge for one of Gary's favorite projects.  The Desert Symphony's Mission statement says it best...

Our mission is to provide a professional orchestra committed to enhancing and enriching the cultural life of the people in the Desert cities.  We offer a series of concerts, recitals and special events with programs of musical, artistic excellence that entertain, educate and engage the audience.  We are also dedicated to providing free concerts to schoolchildren where they can experience a live symphony orchestra

Gary has followed Maestro "Ben" Benachowski's footsteps enthusiastically...being committed to educating and introducing the students of our Valley to the live theatre

experience, the music and performance of a symphony orchestra.  In order to do this, we are launching our 5-5-5 Fundraising Campaign (fifth year, five months left, $50,000) fundraising campaign...the purpose being to present an educational and exciting symphony concert for the students of this fine Valley.  We have already begun...and have raised $7,000.00 to date.
